What is War Machine?
War Machine is a series of computers designed by high-end gamers for high-end gamers. The brain child of several gamers and enthusiasts who grew sick of the limited performance of existing systems, War Machine takes the form of three powerful PCs designed to meet and exceed the performance of systems currently on the market while maintaining an appealing visual aesthetic.
How is War Machine different from its competitors?
We don’t believe in developing a system that is elitist or exclusionary, and want our customers’ input on how we should design their unique system. Our goal is to provide only the best components possible for our system configurations. We test and validate numerous components for our Extreme, Elite, and Elite LC configurations, and in the end only those which pass our rigorous testing procedures and meet or exceed our quality standards make it into our War Machine systems. Our over-clocking and rigorous stress testing is backed by years of experience and time tested software.
What kinds of modifications are available?
The functional components are not the only aspects of system that we are focusing on, our Research & Development team is constantly testing new cooling methods and various modifications. Not only are we working on adding more options to the system at the time of purchase, we’re designing after-market customizations that can be added or swapped out to make your system become what you want it to be. For example, we’re designing new grill patterns, lighting harnesses, panel designs, and more. We’re also designing other things like backpacks, T-shirts, caps, and more.
What is War Machine’s Design Concept?
The M1 Series is War Machine’s premier platform; while all three systems have the same general appearance (with the exception of lighting, grillwork, etc. that the customer selects at the time of purchase), the internal architecture is where the designs differ. We wanted to design a system that was not only functional but would be a conversation piece at the center of every customer’s multimedia home entertainment center. The concept for the case design stems from the desire commented on by fellow gamers for a system that has attitude and presence. We’ve heard fellow gamers complain that that, silly as it sounds, its hard to get in the mindset for massive online war games when they are playing on a system that is small and aerodynamic is design and uses pastel or strange colors. Therefore, the M1 is designed to be large, and have aggressive lines with hard edges and angles, much like U.S. military vehicles (like the M1 Abrams tank or Humvee), or like the mech units from Battletech. This design has not only given us a unique look on the market, but it allows us to configure the system with more of the larger, high-end components like water cooling systems, large video cards, and more. Currently under development is a new line of computers in which the internal architecture is clearly displayed for those who want to see the components of the system “in action.” Keep an eye on our website’s News page for updates on new designs and modifications!
Will War Machine have hardware reviews?
War Machine will post Hardware reviews when validating hardware that will be added to our system configurations. This will allow everyone to see what products we choose and why we choose them. Our goal is to give our customers a better understanding of the components in their system and give them piece of mind that only the highest quality components are made available to them.
Will War Machine host online gaming events?
War Machine is currently hosting a Call of Duty 4 DM server. The IP address is 72.5.250.23:29460, come join the fun!!!!!
